Los Guacharos are an association of small farmers in Bruselas, Huila who pool their resources and expertise to produce delicious community lots. Independent and ecologically focused, they practice regenerative organic agriculture. From creating their own chemical-free fertilizers to protecting local ecosystems with advanced water filtration systems, they are committed to sustainability in every step of the growing process.
The township of Bruselas is the largest population center in the department of Huila, Colombia. The region's elevation ranges from 1,300 to 2,000 meters above sea level. In addition to its high altitude, Huila's consistent rainfall and volcanic soil are conducive to growing complex, aromatic coffee.
Opening with fragrant, delicate florals, Los Guacharos has sweet notes of caramel and stone fruit that perfectly complement the subtle acidity of red apple.
