Marta Mera from Cauca, Colombia - NEW SINGLE ORIGIN!

New Single-Origin: Marta Mera from Cauca, Colombia
We’re excited to introduce our latest single-origin coffee: Marta Mera, a natural-processed lot from Cauca, Colombia. This coffee brings together balanced sweetness, rich chocolatey depth, and refreshing melon and dried fruit notes.

About the Producer
Marta Mera is a longtime coffee producer in La Esmeralda, a community near Tunía in the Cauca region. She’s been a key figure in promoting quality-focused coffee production and better coffee education within her community.
We have personally known Marta for nearly a decade and are honored to finally have her coffee in our lineup. Her dedication to improving coffee quality and helping her fellow producers access better markets has made a lasting impact in Cauca and will continue to do so! We are really excited to support her and bring the fruits of all her hard work to your morning cup.

Processing & Flavor Profile
This coffee undergoes a natural process, meaning the cherries are dried with their fruit intact before being milled. This method enhances the coffee’s sweetness and body while bringing out its deep chocolate and brown sugar notes. The result is a well-balanced cup with a smooth, syrupy texture and a finish of melon, honeydew, and dried fruit. Yum!

A Special Lot
Natural-processed Colombian coffees aren’t as common as washed-process ones, making this lot stand out. Marta’s careful drying process ensures clarity and complexity, highlighting the full potential of her farm’s terroir.
We’re thrilled to offer this coffee and hope it won’t be another 10 years before we have Marta’s coffee back in our lineup.
