Farm to Cup

The Colombia Huila Agustino Forest lot is produced by the members of COOAGUSTINOS, an association of approximately 800 small coffee producers. These farmers grow their coffee at altitudes ranging from 1,400 to 1,900 meters above sea level, where the combination of sandy loam soil, high elevation, and perfect climate contributes to the unique quality of this coffee. The coffee varieties grown include Caturra and Colombia, both known for their vibrant flavor profiles and excellent cup quality.

The coffee production process is a meticulous one. The cherries are harvested twice a year, from April to June and from September to January, ensuring that the beans are picked at their peak ripeness. The farmers then process the coffee using the fully washed method, where the cherries are pulped, fermented, and washed before being dried in the sun. This process enhances the coffee's bright acidity and clean flavors, characteristics that make it a standout in any cup.
